l have 4 cvrs all of them 4ohm how do l get all of them down to a 2ohm load on the amp
im running these subs on a zx2500.1 (2ohm stable)
or do l need to go 4 2ohm subs

If they r single coil 4 ohm, then u can not. You would need them to be 2 ohm each & wired like so - http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/SERIES-PARALLEL.jpg

Currently u can only wire them for 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

you need to wire them like this=
Voice coils wired in series, speakers wired in parallel look at diagram #2 http://the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=4&I=42

if you have the dual voice coil 4 ohm load cvr is you can wire each speaker in series and run all four speaker in Parallel.
