l have checked everything from my ground to new rca cables. The humming stops when l unhook my rca is from the amp or cd player. It is all brand new. Sub, amp, and wires. It was working fine then it was unhooked for a few days so l can get my interiors set up right and now its humming. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
No it was not humming before and l know it is not something just vibrating it is the sub humming with the volume all the way down or up.
If l unhook the rca is from the amp or the cd player the humming does stop. I've tried better rca is and changed my ground 3 times.
The volume on the cd player is all the way down and the gain on the amp is all the way down.
Yes. And if they are unhooked from the amp it stops also.

No it does not start the humming.
Now run a wire from the cd player base to the amp base and see if it stops?

Was it humming before?
If its brand new then l suggest you work them in.
Somtimes it might not be the amp nor the sub but could be something vibrating when you are actually using it.

l hope the extra ground wire fixed it. If not, it still has to be a CD player problem.
