When ever l turn the radio on, my subs will cut off after a while. is this because there is not enough power, or too much power????
could it be because of a wiring problem???
l bought them both new on ebay. Here are the links to take a look at the wattage and all.

l checked out ur specs. u have 2 of these 10'' subs & 1 amplifier. How do u have ur subs wired, in series or parallel? Since this amp is a mono amp 2 ohms, & u r running 2 subs 4 ohms each, then u must wire the subs in parallel. This will match the impedance for the amplifier. That is hot to hot & ground to ground. ( aka: red to red & black to black ). Also make sure ur amp is well grounded as well, the shortest ground wire u can directly to the chassis. Scrape the paint for the connecting wire. Also make sure u r using at least 12 gauge speaker wire. And at least 8 gauge power & gnd wire. Does u car put out enough current? Can it handle this new big high current consuming wattage amplifier? If ur car has a 4 cylinder & a factory alternator then it may not be enough gusto.... Double check all ur wiring.

your subs are DUAL 4 ohm, that means they are putting a 1 ohm load on your amp. You need 2 Single voice coil subs. That amp is not 1 ohm stable.
