It is 800 watts, and is hooked up to one sony xplod 12'' 1200 watt max, which is somewhere between 330 and 380 RMS l cant remember, the power wire is secure and so is the grounding wire. Remote turn on is fine. All cords are good and checked over multiple times.Help?

You really don;t want the protection light to come on. It should only come on when there is something wrong. Over current, Over heat, etc.
