l have a sony mini hi-fi stereo at home, on my equalizer l can change LOW, MID, HIGH, to a maximum of +6 and a minimum of -6. so what controls what? im not shure l think LOW is bass and MID the voice? im not shure...
l mostly play hip hop, classic rock, and some mellow bob marley. well mostly all my songs are mellowand relaxing u know?

It adjusts the frequencies. Low being the bass, High being the treble, and mid being everything in between. Vocals are usually somewhere between the upper mid and lower High but its hard to say because it depends on how it was recorded and the voice amongst other things. Just set it to your preference.
