Ok so normally the alarm system would chirp when l would lock and unlock the doors and now it is not making any sound but it still locking and unlocking the doors? What could be wrong?? Also the security indicator light is staying lit red instead of blinking and my car starter is still working does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

You've turned off the alarm.

l think you can reverse it by keeping the driver door open and holding down the alarm on button.

Something like that.

l am pretty sure it is in Valet mode.
