l know that the best sub woofer depends on what you like as an individual. Im looking for something with extremely clear clean cut bass. That is clean and sounds great from the outside of the car aswell as the inside. It has to have style also because l will be turning this car into a show car. The car is a BMW e36 1992 318i. Anyone know of any good subs. And if you have amps that support the sub well then please tell me also.

JL Audio has a very good line of subwoofer. They range anywhere from clean, responsive woofers to woofers that could knock squirrels out of trees.

The series are: W1, W3, W6, & W7. The higher the number, the louder they get - they also need more power.

Check out their website jlaudio.com. l might recommend the W3 line given the fact that u want something clean sounding, but still want to be heard. Maybe a pair of 10'' woofers?
