l need a head unit that will produce the most bass in my speakers it would be connected to 4 kicker ks650 speakers. l was looking at alpines but any other brands and models are appreciated. My only requirements are that it needs to have the preset buttons on the faceplate and has a cd player. Thanks for the help!

oh man. alpines just the shit. you should just stick with that.

If u want good bass l suggest u buy an amp to power those speakers. Even the best head unit (which l would say is eclipse, l own a 5100 & its the best thing ive ever owned. The sound quality is unmatched) only will produce 17 watts per channel.

If u went out & got a amp that was capable of producing 40rms on 4 channels it would sound a million times better. Your mids would come alive, u will hear parts of the music u didnt know existed. You wont get good bass with just a head unit, u will just get distortion.
